Oban cruising area
Sailing out of Oban provides access to a huge selection of stunningly beautiful cruising options. Depending on the wind direction, the skipper will choose a combination of scenic sea lochs and more exposed islands to explore. North West Argyll has a compeltely different atmosphere to South Argyll; the landscape is more rugged and the area feels more remote. Around every corner is another scene of breathtaking beauty and idyllic anchorage or shore stop. If your preference is to be totally away from it all, you will not be disappointed with wildife in abundance. We offer six cruise itineraries from Oban; two are designed for sheltered water cruising and three for more open waters. if bad weather should affect any open water cruise, the sheltered water cruise would be offered as an alternative
