The places we went like Muck, Canna, Rum, Skye, Inverewe and Cape Wrath ranged from gentle and peaceful to craggy and dramatic. History, geology, beach combing, lighthouses, castles, sea lochs, flora and fauna all featured too in what became, for me, the very best of holidays.
