YOUR CREW

Engineer Ian takes guests onshore Neil - Engineer

Looking after the boat, and your every need during your stay on board, are your skipper, chef, boat engineer and bosun. We have had extremely positive feedback about the personalised service from the crews on our vessels and their ability to make your holiday truly unique. A favourite place for many of our guests is in the wheelhouse with the skipper as they cruise to a new destination. Likewise the boat engineer is very pleased to give you a guided tour of his pride and joy, the engine room.  Your chef will prepare, cook and serve you with first class cuisine, and ensure every other aspect of your time on board is perfect. Your bosun will support the other crew and take care of you on your onshore trips

Skipper/chef partnerships Tim and Rosie and Scott and Mary join us again for the 2008 season
We are delighted that our two crew skipper-and-chef partnerships are back with us again.  Tim and Rosie, who have been with us since the beginning, are again on the Glen Tarsan and Scott and Mary who joined us last year are again on the Glen Massan. Our questionnaire showed that guests thought the standard of meals and hospitality from the crews was almost 100% excellent in 2007.

New Crew, Skipper/chef partnership Debbie and Neil

We are also delighted to have on board a third crew for the first time. Skipper Neil and chef Debbie will be working on both the Glen Tarsan and the Glen Massan, to ensure our crews have time off in what is going to be a very busy season for us.

Boat Engineers
Engineer Neil is back again on the Glen Tarsan with Rosie and Tim and we have a new engineer, Robert, on the Glen Massan who is a local man and very keen on wildlife and fishing.  Our prevous engineer on the Glen Massan, Iain missed being away from his family all week and has taken a shore job.  We are very sorry to lose him and miss him too!  We have a new engineer with Debbie and Neil,  Martin.  Although new to the business, Martin is an old family friend with excellent seafaring experience.

Bosuns
We have a new bosun with Rosie and Tim, David, who has a lot of local knowledge and an interest in wildlife.  For the other teams, for the first time we are employing graduate students who have an interest in the environment and wildlife to help pass their knowledge on to guests.  We will be delighted to welcome Moira and Jane, both Aberdeen university gradautes, on board in June for the rest of the season.  In the meantime Alison, twin sister of Marie our cruise coordinator and daughter of owner, Andy, is serving on the Glen Massan.  Andrew, who served with Rosie and Tim last year is supporting Debbie and Neil.  Andrew will be off the the Carribean this summer for a year and we wish him well

Your crew will enjoy making your voyage a 'trip of a lifetime' both on and off the boat.
