Cruise Argyll and the Hebrides

There is no better way to explore Argyll and the Hebrides than a cruise with The Majestic Line.  Soak in the scenery, wildlife, history and culture, while enjoying exceptional food onboard and fascinating trips onshore. Our mini-cruise ships take you off the beaten track to experience the true beauty and wildness of Argyll and the Hebrides. We know the most idyllic, secret anchorages,  many of which are only accessible by our smaller vessels; there is no other Scottish cruise which allows such freedom and flexibility.

Introducing our new vessel, the Glen Etive

We are pleased to announce that we have commissioned a new purpose-built boat which will be ready for the 2016 season . The new vessel is currently being built by Ardmaleish Boatbuilding Co. Ltd on the Clyde. Finished in traditional wood and brass, with spacious accommodation and a steel based hull, the new boat will undertake 10-day cruises to Islay, the Outer Hebrides and St Kilda and a 6-day cruise to Skye.  The Glen Etive will carry 12 guests in 7 ensuite cabins.

The size of the vessel and accommodation on board continues our vision of informality and relaxation combined with a high standard of comfort and personal service, cruising to the most idyllic anchorages, often accessible only to our smaller vessels.

Guest reviews of their cruise

Our guests can post their own reviews on our website in their own words. Please read the guest reviews  - they explain so much better than we can what is so special and unique about our cruises!

The Majestic Line provides superb holidays. The crews are delightful, and can't do enough to make the stay memorable and happy. Each night Chef serves up top quality, local food, brought to us by the crew. For a truly relaxing holiday, the Majestic Line really knows how to do it, that's why I have already booked for 2015!
