Magnificent Caledonian Canal listed in Quirkycruise's Gander at Europe Canal Transits

As river cruising gets more popular across Europe, small ship cruising companies are using these man made waterways to take their passengers on idyllic itineraries through interesting rivers, lochs and towns. The Caledonian Canal is one of these fabulous waterways running from Corpach, Fort William to Inverness in the North East Highlands.

The Majestic Line offer autumn cruises through this stunning canal and due to popular demand have introduced springtime cruises in April, a favourite time to cruise amongst new and returning guests.  2017 was a great year for our Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal trips and our guests loved the calm, serene cruising with autumnal colours and excellent walking opportunities.
